South London's leading independent data centre operator Netwise Hosting has this month announced it's results for Q1 and Q2 2013, as well as expansion plans for 2013/14.

LONDON, UK – July 11, 2013 – Netwise Hosting have this month announced their performance results for the first half of 2013, with an upward trend across the board, averaging business-wide growth of +107.7%.

Revenues in the first half of the year are already reported as up by +201.8% over year end 2012, which puts the company well on track to exceed its target of a +330% rise in 2013. This comes as utilised rack space (capacity) in the now 2 year old facility reaches 50%, a +400% increase on year end 2012. Management at Netwise Hosting have attributed this dramatic increase to improved colocation strategies in 2013.

The data centre now services +51.6% more customers, which coupled with the increase in rack space utilisation illustrates an improved customer-to-consumption ratio. This would indicate a transition towards servicing larger clients who utilise more rack space.

Revenues across all service types are up between +30% and +360%, showing solid performance across the company’s entire product line.

Dedicated server infrastructure at the facility has grown in size by +12.5%, with the number of active clients using the services up by +59.1%.

The company is now reportedly searching for properties to expand it’s data centre portfolio, opening a second site in 2014. Details on this project are not currently being discussed publicly.

Matthew Butt, Managing Director at Netwise Hosting, gave comment on the performance of the organisation in 2013 so far.

“This has unquestionably been our strongest year to date, despite being just half way through. Sales are up dramatically, with keen pre-sale interest already placed on our proposed second site.”
