i really liked your website annette
i have a few questions though about the site...
* do you offer an unconditional 30 day money back guarantee?
i couldn't find it on your site, but since it is common practice amognst webhosts, i would think you did have that.
* will you have a reseller program?
i really like the alabanza software and have been looking for hosts who are on their network to resell for. since i found out that my contract with truehosting will transfer to burstnet and i won't have to pay anything until a long time, i'm sticking with them for my personal site until the contract is over. but reselling is an other story, and i trust alabanza over vdi for reliability.
also, you should make a button/link on the site that goes directly to your policy/tos (best if it is available on all pages). i didn't see a link to it on the order form, but i think i only found one link to it through your faq page.
i know you didn't ask for opinions or anything, but i'm just trying to be helpful. i hope you have a reseller program (or soon) because i've come to trust you over the months of seeing you defend customers on the internet and would really like to work/partner with you.

Hi -
The 30-day guarantee issue is something we've been kicking around, and I think we will wind up adding it to our AUP/billing. Besides, usually you can tell in the first couple of days whether or not your host will be able to do the things you want, right? So I don't see a problem adding it to the mix.
As far as links to the AUP on every page: that is in progress. The link will appear at the bottom of each page, with the links to the other sections of the site. We are still in the process of building the thing, and have people asking us about stuff. I take that as a good sign.
Resellers - this is something that we will do, probably in a month or so. We've looked over quite a few reselling plans from other hosts, and the most popular type seems to be the discount type. I'd welcome opinions on this from everyone: what sort of reseller plan would you look for, were you looking for one?
Other things: we have received our certificate from Thawte for hostmatters.com, and are in the process of getting another for the server so that our customers can use it without having to get their own. No decision just yet on whether this will be an extra charge, but I think that it will not be, since it really just counts as an expense for us anyhow.
Alabanza's reliability has been fantastic. The server has had zero downtime since we got it set up. Regarding VDI: I understand that they are in the final phases of getting redudant connections, so soon they (and site5, burst, etc.) should be in a better position than they are right now.
Any other comments you (or anyone else) might have on the site, as far as design, features you would add, etc., would be welcome.
This is my first foray into this type of business, as you might imagine, but I got so tired of hearing about/dealing with poor hosts that I figured people would be willing to work with someone who is at least honest about themselves, their abilities, and their company. I appreciate your support.

very good. i like the design of the site and the features are great.
for reselling...
one thing i don't like is having to sell a certain amount of accounts before the price can be lowered [say i can only resell 5-10 in a year, i won't be making that much profit especially when you calculate in the fees for processing (billing the client) etc.]. a fixed price would be cool, maybe 35-50% off the regular plan price?
well, i'll check the site often to see any updates and hope your reseller plan becomes available before i find someone else :p

I tried to reply to your email, but it bounced back. How about dropping me a line?
Thanks.

it bounced back? my email at yoyomail? ermph! no wonder i haven't been getting my emails, they are probably broken!
no reliability whatsoever, anywhere!
sorry, i'm just a little ticked because everything is broken (my net connection is going nutz [had to install, uninstall, install eart***** twice today just to get updated numbers and fix software problems.. big headache and it still has errors at least 5 times before i can even connect], website down again [all day.. is it still VDI? i don't know since other burst sites are working fine], this site was down practically all day too [host problems or just updating?] and now my email too).
can you please email me at the address in my profile instead? thanx

You certainly do seem to be having a bit of bad luck (I saw your post in the Burst thread). Yes, it was your yoyomail mail that bounced back, so I sent one to the email listed in your profile. So far, that's not bounced.
