* go2search.org / go2search.info, anyone hosting with them?

the price sounds very unbelievable. $1/month for unlimited everything? the only thing i heard is that they don't allow direct link. so what? i asked them how they survive for charging so little. they claim they've in business for one year and are very profitable since they attract a huge audience. huge audience? how huge? has anyone been hosting with them? how's everything?

Where have I seen this before?

We do not provide cheap "virtual hosting" or "virtual server" solutions as many of our competitors do. Here you get FULL PHYSICAL HOSTING. What does this mean? This means that with this physical hosting account you will be able to host your very own domain name: www.yourname.com

Explore the benefits of physical hosting! Your website will be reachable via both http://www.yourname.com as well as http://yourname.com.

Ahhhh yes... http://webhostingtalk.com/showthread...YSICAL+HOSTING

First, that physical hosting hogwash whould be ignored, and they are saying that both www and no-www work, but again, all hogwash, so does every host. If you think you've stumbled upon the magic host who has figured out how to offer everything for $1, then you're just kidding yourself.

All I'll say is that a sudden wave of b.s. wafted into the room as soon as I went to their site. Might have been just the baby diaper pail, but strangely coincidental wouldn't you say?

Ohhh, and you'll also notice the sites they host resolve to donhost. 'Nuff said. Gee, seems to be a trend. Get a resller account at donhost and throw up a site offering everything for a buck. Just sad.

It is actually impossible to beable to offer Unlimited Bandwidth and Space. Because to offer Unlimited Bandwidth it would cost you a killing and you can't buy unlimited hard drives if you can someone tell me LOL. I know you can buy 40 gigs and so on and so on. But that is LIMITED!. Not unlimited. They can't be making a profit selling at $1 a month that is actually no way possible but people do it and I don't know how they make it. But Dodo I don't suggest them.

I just completed my 2nd month of hosting with them.. should I have said completed? I ment ended my hosting with them..

Actually they are quite a good host but they kicked me off for a TOS violation because I was still working on developing my site. Their Support is about 1 hour return time.. and they are pretty fast.. but I now hate them.. They thankfully refunded my money..

What kind of TOS violation is that? Terminate your client because they haven't finished their site.. Do they not want to make money or somthing?
