Search for Softlayer in google. The first ads I see are for centurylink and hosting.com.

Just contact them and buy out the domain.

On top, still it is Softlayer, and a visitor actually get that where he is landing, instead of ^this practice.

I don't think that's the same thing as registering a domain name of another company to redirect business to your brand. That's low.

Sorry about that. I removed it because it appeared to be identical, though now I can see that it was slightly different.

If you want, you can post your datashack info in this thread.

Surprised they haven't commented on this thread.

While I don't know the full story behind this, if it was in-fact them and everything that's pretty harsh. As far as I know you used to get bandwidth from them? That's kind of like trying to steal a resellers customers now that hes grown into something bigger and better.

Webair also advertises here. This isn't sneaky, it's general marketing practice, most large companies have hundreds of these.
Yeah, I agree with John here, things like this go on all the time even in your brick n' mortar world, nothing new. If they're not actually pretending to be Joes then it's just the joys of marketing. (Google AdWords has quite a bit of this).

Wonder why WSI no longer likes Joe's.. That would be awkward being in the same building running into each other.
