Starting a Virtual Employee business for Web hosting server owners
Hey Guys,
I already have experience running virtual employee company for clients across the world. Now looking to start catering to the web hosting businesses providing live chat agents, server administrators to do their daily jobs or service specific needs.
The staff will be efficient, technically sound and will be able to do anything as per the client needs.
What suggestions do you have for me ? Also please suggest what kind of VA's you may hire for your work ?
The salaries will be hourly depending on the work or if it is a routine job, it will be 300$/month, what do you think about the pricing strategy ?

I think you'd be best to start with a reseller account and grow from there. The risk involved with your plan is more like $5,000 (300 * 6 months operating costs + server costs).
A reseller account is like $120 for 6 months, and you don't have to worry about employing all those people

What would your unique selling point be versus the established players (Bobcares, ServerSitters, etc)?

Make sure your rates are competitive; there are plenty of providers from cheaper locales (like India or the Philippines) making it easy for them to undercut companies located in more expensive nations (it is unclear where you are located or where you would be getting your staff from).

I'm not sure about you but $300/mo doesn't seem like a very competitive rate?

These are like outsourcing services many companies provide. I am not sure what difference it makes if you called outsourced support as virtual employees...

Well to make sure you get quality + quantity of work done, it comes to 10$ a day which i believe is good quote.
Outsourced support is mostly for servers while the VA's will be handle virtually anything including the SEO, postings or blog comments, live chat, emailing or anything you want them to work upon.
Thanks

Yes, that is true! People can ask their dedicated team to do such jobs or any other capable job that can help their business to boost. This is what all outsourced companies are following. Though I would like to know $10 / day for single server or for the entire team to cover 24x7 ? Also try to provide some exceptional services and that will help to standout from the legacy players

This sounds much like outsourcing work. You should defiantly try it maybe it'll turn out good and work out.
