Go for R1Soft then Jonesolutions has it for like $50 a month it does automated backups and you get plugin for cPanel which allows you to restore files from cPanel from backup points.

Hi there, is this what you are talking about?
http://www.jonesolutions.com/backup.html
Their prices seem to be fair, I wouldn't know where to start, I suppose they setup the service for you?

Yes, and yes they set it up for you. Make sure to select MySQL addon when you place the order.

Is that to backup the mysql server?
Do I need R1Soft Installed on my server? The reason I am asking is because I don't currently have it.

I think I want to probably save little money and do daily backups and clear up the server every 2 weeks.
For now I think the 50GB plan might be a good place to start from and go from there.

It backups the entire server so whatever storage usage you have on the VPS is what you have to order so if you are using SolusVM look at how much storage you are using and order according to that plus the overhead for retentions.

If you want to save money go for FTP or NFS/Samba that only backups the accounts not the entire or use the service I posted earlier.

I might as well give jonesolutions a try. Their prices are not too bad based on what they provide and the level of security they offer too..
