Need urgent help for recover data
We have a server with 2 HDD and HW Raid 1, but one HDD failed, and on IPMI screen, it shows:
end_request: I/O error, dev sda, sector XXXXXXXX
EXT3-FS error (device dm-0): ext3_find_entry: reading directory.
It seems to be filesystem corruption and we even can't login into the OS.
The data in /home is very important for us and we need urgent help for recover data.
Please email me showfom@gmail.com
Thanks.

In RAID-1 information copy on both hard drives (mirror)
You need just remove damaged disk and try reboot.

cd/home is great, they helped us recover all data and the server is online again.
I highly recommend them if you have any server management issue

Glad to hear you are up and running again, downtime is horrible!
If the data is important to you its probably worth getting a cheap VPS/rsync account and doing backups there now and again. Its rare but sometimes you will end up with corrupted data on multiple drives in RAID, even if only one of them failed.
