I know an Australian hosting company called speedysparrow.com .

I have never worked with them and I have not any connection with them. They seem to be pretty well hosting company. I have never seen any bad reputation about that company. You may would like to give them a try, I don't know. I think, Sparrow-Sean is founder of that company. He seems to be very helpful person on here with his ~10.000 posts. He may help you.

Seems the OP is looking for Australian based cloud servers not just an aussie owner.

We are in Australia or (well I am) anyways, our servers are now based in Orlando Florida, we do run OnApp and are cloud based, at the moment due to significant cloud issues we are moving most shared/reseller customers on to standard setups before we implement vSAN which will hopefully move us away from any SAN usage and increase performance as well as productivity.

Have a look at cloudcentral.com.au

Their servers are located in Canberra. You might need to buy your own cPanel VPS license though which can be easily done through a 3rd party seller such as buycpanel.com

Whilst off topic, but didn't you not long ago move your services to Dallas because of issues with your previous provider & cloud setup?

Whilst I don't see why delving in to our past is relevant, all I can say is that we did but due to a lot of network issues we have decided to move to a more stable service/network, it just doesn't meet our expectations and hence why we felt it was a good business practice to move and most of our customers are thankful for it.

Just out of interest, is there a reason why you don't have infrastructure in Oz? Is it not your target market or are the DCs not up to scratch out there?

Bandwidth is still very pricey, its slowly getting better but AU servers typically come with 500GB Bandwidth and in many cases less than that.

As stated above the price of things like transit and colocation are rather expensive,

That's the main reason we built away from Australia and plan to come back later,
