Adult friendly, Linux hosting.
Hi,
I need a linux host for a very basic site made in iWeb (apple).
The site theme is adult orientated but not hardcore.
Don't need lots of bandwidth or storage.
Price range upto $20 per month.
Can anyone recommend anything for me please?
Thanks

Provided it's not hard-core like your claim. Just soft-core (mild nudes).

There is really no need to use an 'offshore' host for adult content hosting - it's not illegal and many hosts will allow it.
HostGator allows adult content, so does MDDHosting and HawkHost, and many other hosts.██ miscis.com - Providing domains and premium hosting solutions at an affordable price

Well, think that there are many web hosts that can be good for you.
I am with gigapros.com and think that it will be a good idea to contact them and discuss the adult content you're planning to host.
Their Live Chat is amazing. contact them.
Hope it will help. GL.Have a fun with online game on worldpaygold . com!

As said most hosts allow adult content aslong its nothing that breaks the law. Check out the shared hosting section: http://www.webhostingtalk.com/forumdisplay.php?f=4

It's better to use offshore hosting services located in the Netherlands.

Definitely check the TOS for each provider you consider, however If it is not against their TOS and it is not against the law, you should be fine.
I would then make sure the host is in a good location in regards to your audience, and that they have the right hosting product for the type of site you are building. Since you are using iWeb - really just about any shared/grid based host should be fine...
Best of luck!

Hi,
are you planning to host a site with a members area ? or a free site.
in case you have a signed paid members area i would suggest a more dedicated solution such as a VPS or a small server to start off.

I see you already chose a host, if it doesn't work out...
Tons of hosts actually allow legal adult content. In fact, more do than don't.
Go through the process of making a short list of all hosting providers. Then just call them up and ask them. Out of 5, at least 2 will allow it.Sajan Parikh - PHP Development | Server Management | Linux Administration | Web Consulting

I think the hosts that don't allow it is just for moral purposes. Its not illegal, at least not here in the US. It almost seems like you would gimp yourself to go that rout.
Theres a very small local DC where I am from (considered buying it), website still from the 90s, I wanted to rack some servers with them.. being local for one and cheap.
They refuse to allow any type of Adult content. They lost my business, I am not going to take the time and micro manage a server for that content just to please someones beliefs.
Its not like hosting adult is asking for trouble.█ hostingcove.com | Tennessee Based Hosting Provider.
