video sharing site need cheap bandwidth in Asia

I am using FDC now.
But it's not very good to stream video from China.
Is there any good choice for traffic from China?

Are you looking for a CDN or dedicated server hosting? And how much concurrent traffic are you expecting for your video stream?

You are going to look for a long time, for cheap bandwidth in Asia.

I would consider however an upgrade from FDC to a LA datacenter (Webnx, Quadranet, Ubiquity, Burst LA etc.) if you are looking to serve the Chinese market, as ping time would be better.

I think this makes more sense as Cheap Bandwidth and Asia does not mix quite well. Prices in Asia are much more expensive than that of USA and is not expected to drop anytime soon.

Could be real. Peering with CT is not so uncommon. The issue with CT is that they have general capacity issues when they get out of China to backhaul the bits over the Pacific Ocean.

We see a lot of hickups to CT. Sometimes traffic drops to 0 for no reason at all.

"Sometimes traffic drops to 0 for no reason at all."
Mean CT limited their pipe ?

Probably not having enough trans-pacific capacity and overbooking / overselling their peerings.

Quadranet has got a Asia-optimized bandwidth, and have dedicated pipe to China Telecom if I'm not mistaken

As many others have said, get a server with a DC in Los Angeles if you're looking for good routes into Asia. Seattle and Fremont also have good connections to China depending on your location as well.

China Telecom is usually saturating their pipes. Please don't hope much with that connection. Other options might still be good, such as NTT and PCCW.
