I've been lurking here off and on for a while and just created an account because I have decided to move my reseller hosting to a new company. I've got some specifics I am looking for and haven't found one company that it seems fits all the needs. I'd prefer not to split between two companies if at all possible. anyway, this is what I was looking for.

Minimum Requirements:
Allow overselling
Cpanel/WHM
Free billing Script (or ability to install/migrate phpcoin data)
Custom or private namservers
Unlimited domains
Media file support (i.e. FFMpeg)
Free setup
Minimum 25GB Storage
Sitebuilder software (such as RV Sitebuilder)
Domain Reseller account with no or minimal deposit needed and a decent price (<$11.50)


Pluses but not requirements:
Pass through service desk support
RV Sitebuilder Pro
WHMCS (seems to be the standard choice in today's world)
merchant account pass through without minimum monthly charge



Looking for a price range of $25/month or less and the ability to start with month-to-month prior to going to a yearly plan if everything seems to work well.

Now the kicker, one of the sites that I host is an adult site. It's links and pass-through to pics/videos on on other sites, nothing hosted directly on the server but it seems that most of the reseller accounts that I've seen either disallow adult hosting or have limitations that adult sites are allowed, but only if pornography isn't the main focus of the site. It's clearly the main focus of this website. InnoHosting seems to give almost everything I'm looking for except for the prohibition of adult websites. I'd rather have all my eggs in one reliable basket then have to split into two providers.

I wouldn't think that I need to mention it, but stability (in the hardware, the support and most importantly in the company) and speed are a concern.

Why don't you look at offers section and there are few hosts that have sticky threads. I think you will be most satisfied with them because of many positive reviews are here about them.

US Based, preferable east coast, but I'm open with that.

I did check out the offers section....InnoHosting seemed to be pretty close, but the adult website seems to be against the TOS. EZPZ was another that seemed to match pretty well, but their TOS has that a site can have adult content, but the adult materials can't be the main focus of the website.

I figured I would test the waters and see what experience others may have in the area.

As long as it's legal it can be hosted. That should have been removed from our TOS.

Do LiteSpeed allow it now?

One possible issue that you may face is FFMpeg, which I believe is disallowed by most reseller providers.

Yes, due to amount of resources it can use. I recommend having dedicated resources (CPU/RAM) for when converting videos using FFmpeg/Mencoder.

Have a speak to some website owners, I requested one at American web hosting and they gave it for $7.95 a month.

Check crocweb. They only thing they don't have is pass through help desk.

But the best thing is to offers section, find your specific provider, and search about him on WHT or ask others if they have any experience with them
Test that host by yourself, talk to their Live chat, check their ticket reply time etc

You'll need to simply identify which hosts are generally accepted to be good and well-liked by others -- then read the ToS/AUP one by one. Also consider hosts just across the pond, in Netherlands. Read their ToS/AUP, as well as contact their sales desk, if you have questions. You may need to bump your price a bit, and some hosts may require that you get a VPS.

Ask some companies, alot of company's have alot to offer, alot more than you would probably think so asking is a great idea, you can get some great deals.
