my issues with a chatroom
Hello All,
I just visited liquidweb.com to report abuse as one of the servers they are hosting sends curses to Calipha's(Sahaba's) and says prophet wife bibi ayesha as prostitute of Islam on voice chat and text chat they say if we don't curse Sahaba's of Islam we will not go in heaven. I have proof which can be seen from this urlimg818.imageshack.us/img818/7811/unled1pv.gif
I emailed support@liquidweb.com and below is the response i got from them
...............................................
Hi,
I understand and know that this is a sensitive issue. Unfortunately, we are unable to moderate client content as the domain owners are responsible for the material they publish. I would contact the domain owners and ask them if they would remove the content but if they refuse, there is not much we can do on
our end. Again, I apologize we are unable to provide more help in this aspect.
Please let me know if you have thoughts or questions regarding this.
Regards,
David Singer

Are you kidding me? You came here with the sole intention of complaining because they aren't some authoritative socialist dictator, and take down any thing someone has a problem with.
You may not like it, but people are free at least in the US to voice their public opinions. And Liquidweb or any host for that matter is not obligated to monitor or police what some third party says on same chat forum.
PS: Please do fill us in how you think this is terrorism. I really want to hear the logic behind this... Wait let me get some popcorn0

In America (where Liquidweb is at) we have something called free speech. This is not impeded by someone's beliefs that they will or will not go to heaven.
What they are doing is not wrong, they are exercising a human right (regardless if you or your country views it as such).Steven Crothers

I am not resident of U.S how can i get a lawyer in U.S to take down the website which is spreading terrorism.
I submitted proof and can submit more proof.0

I suggest if you think this is a possible threat to go contact the Police. If it is not and you just do not like the content just email the owner and ask it to be removed. But like the support said and all the other people responding it is under the Freedom of Speech and they do have the right. Again if you think that this is a liable threat please call the office of Homeland Security or your local law Enforcement Agency.

terrorism <--- would have to be one of the most overused words.
As everyone else has said it really does come down to freedom of speech and if it offends you so much just stay away from the site.0

I don't think you understand the meaning of terrorism correctly.
What you are describing can probably be considered in poor taste, but its not terrorism. For better or for worse, this falls under the guise of free speech.0

From reading what's on that chat, I gathered that this discussion is happening between people living in Pakistan (between Sunnis & Shias).
This is for sure very sensitive issue and emotional to people in that country. But certainly, people outside couldn't be more careless about such discussion since it doesn't involve any living human being.
So, having said that, I guess Mr abulqadri I hope you understand that people just "don't get it" since they just don't know what you are taking about. I hope you accept this fact. I hope people in Pakistan take things less seriously when it comes to religion. Bottom line, no it's not terrorism at all, it's free speech (unfortunately for you)
ps also people here should take it easy, the guy seems really upset, no need to aggravate him more.0

If you visit this website mominconnect.com you will notice all group of terrorism people sending curses on (Abu Bakar)r.a (Omar)r.a (Osman)r.a or (Bibi Ayesha) they hate these Calipha's too much that they even blocked there names on the website so they can show people online that they are praying(azadari) and kicked/banned that people who sends curses against them. Now they send curses by doing voice chat in urdu language by saying curses on "(Abu Bakar)r.a (Omar)r.a (Osman)r.a or (Bibi Ayesha) Bayshumaar (means many times) ". try logging with names (Abu Bakar)r.a (Omar)r.a (Osman)r.a or (Bibi Ayesha) they will kick/ban you if you praise (Abu Bakar)r.a (Omar)r.a (Osman)r.a or (Bibi Ayesha) because they hate these Calipha's (Sahaba's) too much that they cannot stop.
You can see shia-sunni fighting in pakistan because of these terrorism acts where they curse Sahaba's and prophet wifes of Islam.0

One last note, while this absolutely free speech case, but you might try your luck building your case under "spreading hatred" or "inciting violence" thing, not sure how US Law will treat such stuff thu.

That Does not help this situation.
The best way to help this is to just step away from the computer and go outside or something. And to not go to the website anymore. I know that might not be the best of things but you do not get any where by arguing and provoking people. SO just take a walk and enjoy the weather (If it is nice). And you will forget about it in no time.
Just my Tip to help this.0

Because liquidweb needs legal notice does that mean people fights and die and terror will be on the web because liquidweb needs legal notice ?
I am here to ask questions because if liquidweb is allowing this, another webmaster will signup on liquidweb where terrorism will be spreaded.0

abulqadri, trust me, no one here can help you.
Best thing to do is consult a lawyer about building a case against that site for "spreading hatred" or "inciting violence", forget terrorist, it's a losing case. People love the fact that they can voice whatever they think about everything in this life, including persons you love like the prophet, it's a fact you have to accept.0

Oh boy. I feel for the people that take offense to that kind of stuff but its the internet and freedom of speech. There are some things i HATE online but nothing i can do about it except not go to that website. I suggest the OP does the same, Just dont go there.

on mominconnect.net people are training others to send curses on Caliphas(Sahaba's) of Islam by saying it is compulsory for every shia to send curses on Calipha's (Sahaba's). They play recorded conversations in urdu language which are against Calipha's (Sahaba's).
Islam is not bad religion. Somebody must take action to keep peace in the world, god has created angels for what then ? we need to take action immediately. I am taking advice from U.S lawyers to see what they can do to send legal notice to liquidweb since liquidweb requires legal notice but not proof.0
