Netflix, Hulu Plus, or Amazon Prime? [Poll]
Did some searching and didn't find a poll. Sorry if this was done earlier. The title says it all! Comment if you have used a few and can give a review. If there is a tie between two feel free to choose two. Choosing all three helps no one!

I use Netflix and I love it. I can't comment on the other two services though.

Netflix all the way . I've been pleased with their selection of streaming videos and the price is definitely fair.

Netflix
I had a hard time finding content on Hulu Plus. Even emailed them about it and was told that I wasn't the only one . It's gotten better over the years but it's still far reach from streaming services like Netflix.

Netflix has great streaming selection. Plus the regular DVDs in the mail - very prompt so far.

Have had Netflix for a couple years now we love it. Great price, streams to your TV, PC's iPad, iPhone, other phones. Can't beat the price.

Even for TV shows (rather than movies), it is NetFlix that is the best right now, definitely. They simply have the best streaming platform.
Both Hulu Plus and Amazon Instant Video seem rather awkward to use.
Hulu Plus has a lot of glitches, too.

I have Netflix because we cut back from having all movie channels to just having extended cable. It's hit or miss for me, alot of times miss. I wanted to watch all of House from season 1 on up and at the time they had none for streaming. I wanted to watch Office Space and it was DVD only, They do have Full Metal Jacket but they dont have The Hangover. They do have Stripes and do have 8 seasons of 24, but dont have Grandma's Boy. They do have all of BSG, and 4 out of the 5 seasons of Psych but dont have Hitman.
It may just be that my tastes are random enough that I run into these problems but it's left me being less than a cheerleader for their service so far. But I still pay for it each month so take away from that what you will.

I love the Amazon VOD (not prime) service. Select a movie, click download (to PC), boot up the XBOX and watch it immediately (windows media center). The video file doesn't need to finish downloading before you can watch it. Don't think they allow the downloads for "prime" content.
I cancelled Netflix, it takes forever to get new releases (online).

I personally don't feel Hulu is worth it, considering your money doesn't go to a better viewing experience. Their HD content is sketchy at best, and they are still riddled with commercials.
Netflix has mastered the online streaming market in my opinion, their only downfall so far is a lack of online content. However I have heard they are making additional deals to rectify that soon.
Stargate Universe was a good example, each episode was available on Netflix relatively quickly. I think that was more of a trial run, now that they have numbers to back up their claims with the SGU stuff I think they'll be able to pick up more shows/movies.
Eventually I would like to replace the movie theater experience with Netflix.
I would easily consider spending $10 or so watching a movie in the comfort of my own home on my own equipment with my own levels of sound versus a $6-7 ticket at the theaters.
If you watch one theater movie every Friday (when movies come out) you're only looking at an additional $40/mo or so.Steven Crothers

Hulu have a lot of work getting their ducks in a row. Hulu plus has a lot more recent content, but a lot of it is PC/web-only and you can't watch it on other devices. I paid for a couple months of Hulu plus to watch it on my PS3, and couldn't find anything I wanted to watch that would actually play on it.
Can't comment on Amazon Prime, but Netflix's selection is pretty great if you're open-minded.

Netflix
I use it everyday and love it. Been able to see movies I missed, watch TV shows I missed and plus being able to watch it on my computer or xbox is a plus for me.

I can't agree more. I watch videos online to avoid commercials. I also demand zero buffering, especially when I pay good money for business class internet speeds in my home - I feel entitled.
The only thing I like about Hulu Plus is that I can get to see shows faster than waiting for Netflix to (maybe) release them. But in all reality that's only a small handful of shows that I really want to stay up to date with that I can count on one hand.█ DBLHost.com

Hulu+ sucks! I had it fore 3 months on my Roku at $7.95 /month. There were a bunch of prime time shows that were not available (fringe, Breaking bad, Mad men) to the plus membership and they still had commercials. It is better IMO if you have a Mac and Roku to just use the Plex server and stream the regular Hulu content. At least you can view all of the current available programs.
Amazon Prime has a lot of the same content as Netflix but is still lacking. Amazon rentals through the Roku is awesome. Almost everything in amazons web store is available for rent and purchase.
There is a new provider backed by Sony Studios called Crackle. They have a lot of interesting content available for streaming.█ HostREA.com

I actually have all 3 going netfix, hulu+ and amazon via a strongvpn account to get around the US only ip restriction and a roku xds.
The only one i still actualy use is netflix... we got hulu+ as the misses wanted to watch desperate housewives right after it aired in US now that the season is over i wont be renewing it.
Everything i might watch or would like to watch on hulu wont play on a mobile device or my roku xds
Amazon instant videos i have only because i buy a lot of stuff from amazon.. so it free with my prime membership i wouldnt pay for the service on its own.. most if not everything can be found on netflix.. unless you use the instant movies which gives you more variety with amazon but they a ppv.

Hulu + is the only video only option to use.
Netflix: Garbage queue, garbage profile, just garbage overall, updated rarely for online stuff.
Hulu: awesome setup where you can browse what you want, watch it from the device (without having to 'add it to a queue'), updated DAILY
That's not discounting Amazon Prime, but I use prime for shipping, more than anything. Who can argue with free 2 day shipping, or $4 overnight shipping? I do everything on Amazon any more, unless it's like local grocery shopping or major electonics, like a TV, have done so for years now.Tom Whiting, WHMCS Guru extraordinaire

Couldn't vote - had NetFlix and Hulu and canceled each of them. Between the two, NetFlix was better (but not good enough to keep paying them).
