    Software for Remote reboots

    Hi guys,

We use our own basic proprietary software app that allow customers to login to a simple online control panel and to reboot their servers. However I'm looking for any software which is widely used in the industry, trusted and comes with support and development. Please share your experience and tell me which one do you use?

Ubersmith DE is probably one of the most popular - although this is a full featured billing system which does a lot more. It sounds like you are looking for something more basic?

If you reboot device has an API, you can build your own WHMCS module and integrate it. As layer0 suggested, a lot of provider use Ubersmit DE for reboot, bandwidth monitoring, support, billing etc.

We use Ubersmith DE for billing, and once you get used to it, it's pretty fantastic.

We was thinking about switching from WHMCS to Ubersmith...
What do you think does it worth?

I saw Ubersmith Demo, and discussed with their sales rep. but... WHMCS still have much more options.
+ over API remote reboot, BW monitoring, etc. can be integrated.

I think the one reason we are using it is because it allows you to have multiple brands under one single support website. So all of our different brands converge to one payment/billing and support panel which makes the process soooo much easier!
