    Angry burst is worst :(

    hello guys..
    i hope you all are doing well

    recently just i have purchased VPS and dedicated server from burst.net and had a very bad experience with them..
    my servers are down from 1 week
    i have placed support ticket there but no reply from there side

    today m writing this to warn you not to buy any server from burst.net

    there are various good company but dont buy any servers from burst.net

    I bought one of their el-cheapo VPS.. been fine for a week now. Hell it even has good performance.

    I was surprised seeing this, and still would like to hear more, Burst is a amazing provider and has been, it's just a older provider and yeah they had some hiccups, but I doubt you had one-week downtime on your services fault to them? It's possible I just doubt it?

    There support/ticket system is the only down-fall I believe I've ever heard about burst about taking awhile for ticket responses, but when your that big it's a thing you are going to go through. Burst serves a portion of the internet for hosting solutions.

    though I'm pretty satisfied with BurstNET and considering a dedi from them.

    I'm waiting for the whole story.

    Posting after you've been down for a week really invites skepticism.

    They seem quite responsive, but things do fall through the cracks sometimes. Did you use an e-mail not associated with any of your domains for billing and support contact purposes? If you own foo.com, and your e-mail on file is admin at the same address .. then that domain has an issue, communication can break.

    This, and the fact that there's really no _confirmed_ outage (hence, it never happened) makes me kind of wonder.

    i have created a ticket on 04-13-2011
    hello sir
    this VPS is not pinging
    and given all detail

    somehow, after 1 hour VPS is live so i replied on ticket
    now its responding..

    sir, but daily at this time server stops responding

    i have logged the load average and memory usage but its also normal

    i think problem may be at your network(net connection) please check this issue and reply

    We are looking into the matter. If you see this issue arise again please run a traceroute from your location to the VPS IP address and provide it in the ticket.

    Thank you for the traceroute. There didn't appear to be any problems with the XX.XX.XX.XX VPS but there was an issue with the LA network segment. It has been resolved and the packet loss you were seeing should be clearing up now.

    i finally quit burst.net and some data are remaining to be copied but it will be soon copied if there server live

    Could you please place one of the ticket numbers here? We get thousands of tickets a day, so the date of a ticket does not help.

    So basically you want to make these claims, yet not prove any of them?
    There are rules on WHT for a reason.
    You'll need to provide proof you are even a client to the mods, or I'm sure this thread will get removed otherwise.

    And if you think we are the worst host on the Internet (we have 20,000 clients that would disagree with you...), then you are more naive then you even sound.
    I have a strong feeling that you are probably quite young, based on your language, and how you are conducting yourself...

    Don't make up WHT rules that don't exist, all the OP has to do is confirm his domain to the mods and is under no obligation to provide ticket numbers. Granted, a ticket number to Burst would be helpful for Burst.

    Hey sown, just give them a ticket number. Else be quiet and forever hold your peace.

    We at WHT can all be witness to this. If they shut you down just because you gave them the ticket number then we'll all be on their case. We will not just sit here letting them bully you if its true.

    So with that said, either you give them your ticket number now or you are telling the world that you're just making this up and it's all a bit fat lie. The choice is yours.

    We are all witness to this. I am 100% sure they will not disconnect you without a really good reason like for example chargeback or etc.
