+1 for Softaculous; we are actually making that the only one-click installer software installed on our new web hosting nodes. A few of our older nodes currently have Fantastico; but Softaculous is much better, offers more, and is worked with still as Fantastico is out-dated and now really not cared as much in my eyes.

Yes I'm running it on my server too. Some of my clients like it, but I prefer Softaculous.

I prefer softaculous myself. Although more people wanted Fantastico.

But, having both is an asset.

Both are easy to use but I agree that Fantastico has not been updated for some time now.

Would love to use Instalatron though. It looks cool.

In my opinion, Softaculous is best, but I still offer Installatron as a choice for the users who want that. And I got some users saying thanks for adding it...

Fantastico becomes an old-timer in the script auto installers and they didn't much to be up to date.

While I'm still a fan of "install everything manually", Softaculous does a good job of keeping everything updated. Fantastico is so far behind and so terrible at updates it's almost like opening your server up for exploits willingly.
