colo providers in the DFW area of Texas
Our library consortium needs to re-colocate 2 servers. The servers are from Supermicro, model A+ Server 2021A-32R+F.
They are 3.5" tall, 17.2" wide, and 25.5" deep. Is that 2U each?
We would need basic monitoring and remote root level access. Since the servers just run our automation system (checkins, checkouts, fines, etc.) and the libraries in the consortium are small, there isn't much load on the servers and we don't need a ton of bandwidth.
Since our consortium is made up of small, mostly rural libraries, we don't have a lot of money. I would like to keep our monthly cost no higher than $500 (for both servers), if possible.
If anyone can recommend some colo providers who use data centers in the DFW metroplex, have good support, and would be appropriate for the details above, I would really appreciate it.
Thanks!
Jesse

+1 for ColoUnlimited
$50 is for 10mbs
100mbs can be had for $99 a month..
Don't be fooled by the cheap price.. They have been rock solid for me since mid Dec.

Recommend Colo4Dallas if you are looking for a good long term partner (assuming you do not like to switch providers constantly).
Pricing is reasonable, good support department , good connectivity and fast response to billing resolutions.
