Domain question
Would it be a good idea to have "mr" in a domain? or would women be put of by this?

I am not of the contradictory gender but don't believe that it is an issue. Just make sure you grab both the mr and mister versions. mrexcel.com is a very popular site (PR6) but someone else grabbed the misterexcel variant. Using mr is one way to get a keyword domain if the base is already taken.

I don't believe women would be turned off with something like that. Tht is like saying a woman wouldn't use Mr Fixit if she had a problem with plumbing or something. I don't think it's really a concern...

maybe the domain sounds attractive to ladies who have already be the fans of this "MR. ***"
another case is that these ladies are shopping for their hudsbands / bfs / fathers,
who knows? it all depends

It all depends the rest of the domain. Women will be turned off if you use domains like:
MrIronBalls.com
MrHandsome.com
MrWhoIsYourDaddy.com
MrWomanizer.com
etc. you got the point...

Talking as a woman (yes, the secret is out!) I think this is one of the silliest and most pointless polls I have ever seen on this forum. And I can see all the stereotypes coming out already.
That's all I'm going to say here...

oh la la, what a discrimination! I can already see thousands women writing angry articles and posting in their blogs about your domain!
seriously speaking, I wouldn't even notice what domain you use if the site itself is useful. can't be sure about feminists' point of view - but who cares..

Women put off by Mr? I would think it would attract them more than men because of the whole "Mister" thing.

That would all depend on what your site is about. Use common sense where sexism is involved.
