    .gnupg and .gem Directories

I have a stock WHM server running on Centos. As I am learning more, I am beginning to see things, that sometimes I can't explain or find out about.

In my ~/ directory (root user) I have two directories .gnupg and .gem

I know gnupg is related to PGP and .gem to ruby, but never installed this stuff on purpose, so am wondering why it is there and if it's safe to remove. The only reason i ask, is that I recently set up a test WHM server at home, and noticed that these directories (amongst others) were not there with a clean install.

Hi Noman, thanks for replying, but I can't figure out what your reply means... Are you saying these are sometimes required by a stock WHM install?

These directories automatic create if there is any requirement for software which you are trying to install. But mostly its empty until/unless there is some key information need to save.
