UK Nethosts - OWNED BY KILLERS?!
This is totally amazing
Nethosts Interactive (nethosts.biz?)
Allegedly, two people, one an ex-cop, both who are also killers, own this company
here is the article that accuses them.
http://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/news/sc...6908-21569876/
I have been unable to pull up the website...Anyone have experience dealing with this company?Maurice W. Evans, Best-selling author & Marketing Consultant

Very interesting to read, however I do not see any relevant reason for it being posted as a news item on a news paper website - a bit strange.
I must admit I did smirk when I read 'In 1997, while George was still behind bars, he hacked into Saughton jail's computer.'
Please note obviously I could never condone the actions of these two.

notice they are a uk company, and its a uk newspaper...so i guess its local.
Like if i was an excop and killed someone, and then it comes out i own a hosting company, YOUR paper won't care, but my local paper would.
Also, the fact one was an officer I think
How do you hack a computer while you are IN jail? wow.
I am sure they are not the only criminals who own web hosting companies

Hey, it's not such a bad thing.. having murderers run a hosting company. Keeps them busy.. doing something other than killing your sister.

Well, I kinda am for alerting the community for when a sex offender moves in or something. But I dont understand, what have these guys done since they been out for this paper to up and try to ruin their business like this? I dont get it. I would understand if they was actively scamming people or doing something illegal but all i see is where they were discovered to have a hosting business and then I guess that paper decides they cant have that and publishes this. I think its rubbish to do this.
And wow, you guys got some lenient jail terms over there. If you are charged with cop killing in USA true or not you will die by execution or never get out of prison. But nevertheless these guys served their time, they are running a legit online business. How do they know this 30 man staff isn't out sourced somewhere?
I think someone needs to dig up something embarrassing on the guy that wrote this and try to ruin his livliehood too. Simply very gay to do what this so called reporter has done.

I have heard that the amount of downtime their customers experience is murder.

This. I'm on the fence about the sex-offender thing - I'm a personal believer that the criminal justice system should be about rehabilitation, and that someone's sentence should end when they are rehabilitated and ready to go back into society. For that reason, I don't see any reason why anyone should be hassling an ex-con if the system is working correctly. Unfortunately, in the case of sex-offenders, I don't believe it works, because I personally don't believe the majority of them are able to be rehabilitated.
But in this case, I just don't see how this is newsworthy, unless they're using your billing information to come around and kill you. If they're not rehabilitated they should still be in jail, it's not the place of the community or the media to add additional punishment.
Also I take it the UK doesn't have the USA's laws that prohibits felons from communicating with each other (or is that just something I saw in a movie somewhere)?I used to run the oldest commercial Mumble host.

I think you are misinterpreting the term in the context it is used.

Sensationalism....that's all papers go for. They want to sell papers and that's all.
Had they been drunk drivers who'd ran over someone, the story wouldn't ever have hit the press...because that kind of stuff happens all the time. However, due to the horrid killing of and old person and cop killers....Eureka!!! Stop Press!!!

Any thoughts on the matter I will keep to myself, I don't like what they did and they should rot in hell for it, but...
they was released and this and owning a hosting business has nothing to do with it, there is no difference between this and them getting ajob pulling a pint behind a bar.█ Studyhost - Simple Web Hosting Solutions
