Sagonet is good and is located in Tampa. You may need to contact their sales department for the bandwidth and IP options that you need as their site does not list anything close to those specifications.

I second GoRACK, I know a few people hosted there, they've had no complaints.

If reliability is important, scratch Sago from your list. We colo'd there for 5 years and that was all we could stand. Problems were everywhere-- cooling, power, network. We moved to E-Solutions www.esnet.com in downtown Tampa. I'm not sure if they do colo by the U, but I would encourage you to ask. We moved there in January and our experience has been 100% perfect.

Even their crash carts are primo. Cooling is rock-solid, where Sago was all over the board (including several times in the 90-100F range). Power is solid, where Sago had outage after outage. (all this is documented in WHT threads) You can't even compare the quality of the network because ESnet is so far above and beyond.

lol, you were with them for 5 years and you are saying they were no good ? Why wouldn't you move out in 3 months not 5 years later.

They started out good. We moved in just before they started their major expansion, and we were given the sales pitch about the "brand new facility" being built. Once the first phase was done, we moved into DC2 which was the first new room ready.

Things continued OK for a while because there were virtually no loads on power or cooling in DC2. Then they started to fill up and service went bad. Every time we were prepared to move out, they gave us a tempting song and dance about how they were doing <all these things> to make sure the same problems and failures didn't happen again. In late 2008, they had 4 power failures in a few weeks time, and that was the final straw.

In case you are still wondering why we stayed so long, a small host moving a few servers across town in the middle of the night is easy. We have a lot more to move than that. Our move was NOT easy. It was a big deal that required weeks of planning and coordination. The level of effort required to move everything we have is too much to just pick up and run at a moment's notice if we're not happy-- which is why we tried to weather the storm at Sago, taking their word things would get better. Once it was clear problems were going to persist, we bit the bullet and moved out.

Yes, they are in Tampa. I have a backup VPS located there. Their network is solid.

Peak 10 is extremely expensive - primarily due to their exorbitant bandwidth rates.

Well, at least they've dropped from $300/mbit in 2006, to the too-good-to-be-true low-low price of just $250/mbit in 2008. (seriously, they were still $250 per megabit last year)

They're also very high-pressure on trying to upsell you on their managed services. I gave them several chances over the years to get our business, but it's clear they want the large corporate accounts who want managed firewalls, remote hands for installs and upgrades-- basically, clients who will ship their equipment to their datacenter and let Peak 10 personnel completely manage it from that point on.

We just wanted a rack, power, a Cat-5 drop for bandwidth, and to be left alone. Their salesman told me right out, that we're not their target demographic.

I'm definitely going with GoRACK, unless I see something I don't like when I go there for a tour on Saturday

I looked around for FL colocation services, gorack appeared to be the most economical. I'd consider them in the future myself.
