Google dont really own Datacentres as such. What they do is they use containers a bit like Suns Microsystems container DC and they drop them off at various data centres around the world and hook them up. Thats how they provide super fast searchs etc.

Also google build there own custom servers.

The closest you'll be able to get is using Google's App Engine service, which is actually pretty okay. There's no way you can get a straight dedicated server with Google...they're way too cloud oriented for that.
I see your bandwidth and raise you a gigabit
Recommendations: MDDHosting shared, Virpus high-BW VPS, 100TB/SoftLayer for awesome servers

    Best,
Google has chosen to go with the container approach on multiple locations as seen here:

However I am quite sure they do own their own datacenters...

That said, good luck getting hosted in one.

Some of the sites (DC's) are actually known by some people on here ... I don't think they would be at liberty of disclosing them though for obvious reasons!

Google doesn't own but one DC that I'm aware of. Although, as stated, they own space in tons of other datacenters.

As for residing within their DC space, it isn't offered and likely not possible.

PCI/SOX compliance is a big issue there and dropping in 'random_guy01s' server isn't going to help them pass an audit
