    Powered By Rackspace [MERGED]

Now that WHT is at Softlayer, it might make sense to change or remove the "POWERED BY" image.

    Just a thought.

I agree. Maybe remove it or make it say powered by SoftLayer

Didn't they mentioned somewhere that the move is just temporary?

Or maybe WHT have a advertising deal with rackspace which they have to honour.

iNet Interactive (owner of WHT) also hosts most of their other web sites with Rackspace, right? Maybe it is a community advertising deal, though one that probably did go into effect while WHT itself was hosted at Rackspace.

Why is the "Powered by Rackspace" still there?

Since WHT is hosted at Softlayer now, why does WHT still have the "Powered by Rackspace" line above RSS Feeds?

This was already mentioned several times. The move to Softlayer is only temporary - See http://www.webhostingtalk.com/showth...92#post6128392.

I guess this all depends on what your definition of "temporary" is...

This is true. Hopefully 'temporary' is sooner than later, as ever since iNET moved the site over to Softlayer, it's been loading insanely slow for me, though, just about everything at Softlayer loads slow for me. Not too sure why.

Why, the restaurant down the street is only "Temporarily Closed" - it's been temporarily closed for over a year...

It's faster for me, but that's probably because they took the opportunity to upgrade their systems

Yeah, exactly.. everything appears to be fine. It's not just WHT that's slow.. it's all of Softlayer Dallas that's slow.

Dallas and Seattle are blazing fast for me, WDC is extremely slow. Terrible connectivity to WDC
