A quick question about WP and IPower...

First I just wanted to thank everyone for all their help with previous questions....

I am currently using IPower, and realized that the Wordpress that is offered is NOT the latest version....

I was told I have to install it manually now... and quite frankly I don't have a clue about what that entails....

Does anyone know how one uploads Manual Wordpress in Ipower, or anywhere for that matter??

Thanks in advance for the help, and I will look forward to hearing from you soon!

    1. Create a database
    2. Create a database user
    3. Add the user to the database
    4. Download the wordpress archive to your PC
    5. Uncompress the archive
    6. Edit the wp-config.php file to match your database settings
    7. Upload the archive to your web space
    8. Navigate to the installation file
    9. Done

ok, to be specific.. We uploaded it from FileZilla, including the newly configured Admin page, onto the file manager in the home directory of IPower....

As the manual clearly states, navigate to the "/wp-admin/install.php" file. Assuming you have setup the wp-config.php file.

ok.. We have done that... I think we have it all uploaded from the Wordpress end... but now I think its just getting it onto Ipower which seems to be our biggest hurdle...

Yes, you can use either the File Manager or through FTP. There will be a folder called "public_html" inside your webspace, upload it all into there.
