    Budget server with many Ips

    Hi,

i am looking for a budget server in US with many IPs(10 to 30ips) free or cheap.
Hardware spec does not important. P4 with 80GB HDD, 512MB-1GB of RAM and 500GB data transfer is enough.
    OS: CentOS 5.1
    CP: No need.

    Is 50$ per month reasonable?

Yea, IP's would alone cost $20+ or so.
You can get cheap boxes for under $50 though.
Just hunt around the offers section.

You will definitely need to up your budget a bit. Most hosts will not include that many IP's as standard, so you will need to pay extra for those.
Furthermore, each IP will need to be justified.
What will you be using them for, by the way?

You can get a cheap server and these ips,for around 50$
But you must validate these ips to ARIN

I'd recommend announcing your plans in this thread for which you intend to use these IP's and you can get some additional feedback. Perhaps you can get by without those IP's to stay within your budget?

As long as you can provide justification per ARIN guidelines for requiring the IPs, you should be able to find what you are requesting at that price range. Check the offers section, and find the hosts you think may fit, and then contact them about your IP address needs directly...

As Burst pointed out, this isn't hard. Contact a provider, and start talking with them, justify the ip's, and you be on your way.

I want to offer my client private a dedicated IP for each client. And i plan to host 10-30 clients( share hosting).

    So would that reason acceptable?

I need max is 30 Ips

Some providers dole out IPs free, as long as you have ARIN justifications. Just giving everyone their own IP I don't believe is qualifying reasoning. I believe if they are running SSL certs that need a dedicated IP then you can work with that.

Just as a note, it be hard to find a provider with free ip's, as those ip's cost them $$$$ from ARIN. Sometimes companies who offer free ip's, have a oversold network, so your not getting the value for your buck.

I always find its easier to go to a host and pay the $15-30 for the 30 ip's.

I dont think you can get a box for that cheap, im sorry a P4 alone with 80 GB HD is like atleast 100$ a month and an extra 30$ for the IPs... I'd check like layered tech, superbservers, rackspace, check all of those look for specials and you will see even with specials you will not find a box for a P4 for 50$ a month with 30 IP addresses.

    Sorry
