That's not how WHT works you have to drag them through the mud first, than try and settle things.

I've been using a few of Tufat's scripts for years. Glad this misunderstanding was settled before someone got the tar and feathers out.

How many web hosts does it take to screw in a light bulb?

I did not contact him first, I have contacted him several times in the past though because of other ways he has tried to jerk me around. Destroying a directory with spam , signing up with many accounts on the forums to give fake reviews of his scripts and so on.

This is by no means my first run in with him and it was by no means an "accident". Has anybody ever seen an instance where content theft was not from a so called oversees freelancer?

    please.

    hi,

Those were also the results of overseas freelance coders (marketers, actually). I've posted several "link building" projects on various freelance websites in the past to build search engine ranking. If a link is rejected or deleted from such marketing projects I generally remove the website from consideration for future marketing. As I recall, I simply forgot to do that for your website, so the links were submitted to your site twice.

    thanks,
    Darren

you mean over and over again, you know like the forum bans that I have had to issue to you over and over again.

Well, actually it was not me but an oversees ban bot.

It's possible that some marketers attempted to re-submit, I don't know. I'm only aware of two attempts.

I think you're grossly exaggerating this for effect.

Quite a contrast to the way I see you accepting responsibility...nil.

Here is a small quote from our previous emails
When I noticed you adding items last week, I let it go hoping the nonsense
from the past would not occour again. Unfortunately my trust was not met
with integritry. I also noticed you signed up on the forums again, after
being banned atleast twice in the past for not only spam, but attempting
to trick members with fake script reviews.
It was not an exaggeration then, and it certainly is not an exaggeration now that you have also stolen over 30 pages of my content.

It is unfortunate that the integrity that was lacking then is still lacking today. Or maybe it is a shame you cannot help but pick the wrong people to do your work.

    Respectfully
    overseas freelance posting team.

Thanks for your comments. They really motivate me to compete with you in the webmaster tools and support market.

Repeat after me,"Thou shall not hot link unless this becometh of thou."

    Thou shall not steal.

It was not about hotlinking but stealing over 30 entire pages.

Coming soon to TUFaT.com: SEO Tools, Script Tools, HTML Tools, and CSS Tools!
Personally I feel that the sort of attitude you are taking regarding this issue isn't exactly acceptable; you clearly removed the offending content which was a great start, but now saying you have motivation to compete with the person whose content you stole really isn't the best approach to things.

Personally I would have let it lie after just removing the offending content and apologizing for the mistake; which you have only done in the sense of removing the content but no formal apology.

Just apologize and then leave it alone.

    Best Regards,

    Best Regards,
I think the OP is a bit over-reacting.

Apology and the removal of content is all there is to it. Admitting the mistake and fixing it I think was a great move from Tufat.

There is nothing wrong with competition and I think Tufat will make a great move by adding tutorials to their list of to-do items.

It was just a mistake done by the freelancer, I don't see why we have to keep this discussion open.

    Peace,
