Wouldn't it make more financial sense to use VMWare?

It looks like they're doing this mostly for gold farming purposes....

I can't imagine them spending $900 for the monthly fees for all of these accounts - 100% just for the fun of it.

I imagine that this is the kind of ridiculous and pointless thing I'd do if I won the lottery.

Forget that.. the point of winning the lottery is so you don't have to waste your life in front of a computer. lol

The point some people make.. "Well if you have the money to do it... go for it".. still doesn't take away the point... ITS STUPID.

Someone who is compulsive and addictive enough to have 47 computers (between 2 people.. like that makes it any better) has a "few" emotional/mental problems. How any compulsion is good.. is beyond me.

I've never played WOW. Can they set their characters to digg for gold and then sell it on and break even or make a profit?

Gold farming and selling is not illegal, but it is against the questionable EULA for WOW.

Yeah well we have time for that sort of thing too, with raising 6 kids with their various sports, school etc, and running several business and the usual day to day activity of such.

You lied to me, I took your advise and started looking for lottery tickets on streets, at first I wasn't able to find any, then I thought where do people buy them?, maybe some have dropped on the street, I hit the jackpot at local liquor store, the sidewalk was full of tickets, I started collecting them, took them in to check and not a single one was a winner, the store clerk told me those are the losing tickets, so I am on to you, you lied to me, so it is true, you have to buy a ticket to win.... but then just today I got an email saying I won the Irish Lottery and if I give them my info they would send me the money, I just emailed them and now I have to wait for the money to go to my bank account, I hope I don't have to wait long (crosses finger's)

I wouldn't be surprised if they've considered converting those office chairs into toilets as well. I've seen people crap their pants before because they refuse to leave the desk during one of their little "raids". And yet we're the geeks.

Wow takes a good deal of PC resources. Even running on a Dual Core 3.0G /2 gig ram system, it runs things slowly.

With this level of activity, multiple PCs is the only way to go here.

All but 2 of those pcs are diskless.
Not that hard to do, really. I can run WoW off of one disk on multiple pc's, with good networking. The problem is the OS. Each individual PC needs it's own Windows license, which will drive cost up. Nott to mention the individual WoW licenses (and expansion, etc) for each account.

Wow is, in fact, very addicting. I'm amazed to see this, it's amusing!
