    Images for your websites?

Where can I get images of of things like servers/business type people? Do you buy stock photography?

We've bought a few from Getty Images, not the really expensive ones, but some of the royalty-free ones (about $130 each). For everyday use, iStockPhoto has some great imagery, ~$1 per image for Web-quality graphics. Stock Exchange (SXC) is decent, considering it's free, but I've found it lacking in many respects. Searches around very good, image quality is not monitored, so you have to sift through a lot of noise to find a real gem.

SXC is a nice place but I have also found it lacking in sum areas as well. If your running any type of business don't you need to get permission if your using the pics off of SXC?

You can't resell their images, but I believe most, if not all, are allowed for individual site use, even commercial sites.
