This is the first HostingCon. There were no HostingCons in the past years.

As gghosting said, this is the first time HostingCon has been held. I will say, however, that we'll have a lot of really good pictures AFTER the event.

600-750 attendees is actually a pretty good number for the first year. We hope to grow in coming years, but even then we want to keep it at a manageble size.

Thinking about it 600-750 people would be better than something like 1000-2000 with the convention floor packed and busy everywhere.

Everyone harrass Sirtwist to post the pics we shot of the hotel the other day..
We were there meeting with all the important figures and took some shots of the mezzanine which has the bars and restaurants but also alot of sitting areas, several of them couch and chair combo's with coffee table centers but also alot of secluded table and chair setups along two opposing walls which will be great for small gatherings/meetings..
