    Registering International Domain Names

Hi! Can anyone recommend a registrar who offers domain registrations for various central american countries such as Mexico at a decent price?

Specifically, I am looking to register some new domains with '.com.mx' including other central america countries for one of my clients. I have found a few registrar's who offer this type registration for around 50.00/year but feel that is a bit over-priced.

    Many Thanks!

    Godaddy offers com.mx domains for US$ 34.99

As your location is Mexico, did you already check the prices from local registrars?

Almost registrars are providing these types of domains. You can try by googling.

Thanks, yes, I have checked online and most local mexico based registrations were around 50.00. Thanks for the godaddy tip! I may have to go with them.

And for interest sake, some local hosting companies in this part of mexico are charging 2000 pesos a month, nearly 180.00 USD to register and host your website. And continue to charge that fee PER MONTH!!

I suppose you need do some research before you start register any ccTLD.
Each certain ccTLD has own rules. Most of them are similar and require to be resident of the country they belongs to.

    Well,

Godaddy and moniker offers a lot of regional extensions. I'm not sure how much local Mexican registrars charge for it. If local registrars are charging less than you can buy from them otherwise Godaddy is the best place to register domains.
