    unmanaged with fewest network outages

I current have an $89/month server with ServePath. I am satisfied with the server itself but have been frustrated by repeated network outages. For example, today they had a two-hour denial of service attack that made my server inaccessible just when customers were looking at it. They seem to be improving, but I can't afford to wait.

Can anyone recommend a RH7.3 unmanaged server for <$150/month with 99.99% network uptime? Bandwidth and network speed are also important considerations; CPU and disk are less important.

I've read about the following providers on this forum but cannot determine who has the best network *uptime*:

    rackshack.net
    nocster.com
    fastservers.net
    fdcservers.net

I'm really happy with ezzi.net performance.
There is no best host. There is only the host that's best for you.

Rackshack? You need a network with quad oc-12 dDoS firewalls and 100% uptime.. the price is a little bit higher but it's worth it.. I've had 100% uptime for 4 months now network never went down and never slowed down.

Got 2 servers at Rs then no more than 15min(in night) downtime in 1 servers since august last year !

Thats nice ... Even now Rs down today because of Dos then my servers was up, just have a 3-4 minute today whit Http request have been down (i think because they are managing to get rid of the "unwanted paquet"...

So not to bad, acceptable for me

    I can stand 20min / 8 month or so...

Rs is so far the best in uptime....

I read here daily then Rs look to be the most stable in it range, just check the competition of rs... They have downtime every day or week or so and lot of time its for hours...

    I like Rs

I concur with SWR and Acegamer - Ezzi is outstanding. We have one machine there now, and will have two more in a few months. Good stuff !

httpd.net's prices are too high and unreasonable. It's only good for someone who thinks they'll be "invincible" with their DoS/DdoS protection that you purchase.
