How much for any2/coresite 10gig peering link?

I was just wondering how much getting a 10 gig port/link with any2 typically runs for One Wilshire in L.A.? Currently have a 1 gig link that is like $250/month I believe (not 100% sure) and right now its peaking up at around 900 megabits during peak hours so I am thinking probably getting time to upgrade it to a 10 gig link.

    Contact them directly for pricing.
Most clients are under an NDA regarding that.

It's under NDA. You need to talk to them directly.

They used to publish it, but yeah, just contact your account rep over there. The Any2 exchanges have reasonable port rates compared to everyone else, so it's likely to be at a good price.

Just to let some people know when randomly herring from them (because I gave my info to see their new DC build). I didn't even need to get a quote they flat out told me a second 1 gig connection would be another $250/month and 10 gig would be $500/month.

Needless to say we will be upgrading to 10 gig =)

I don't believe I was under NDA when they gave me pricing, and I seem to remember a 10G being $500 or $600, but there was a substantial ($5k) NRC for the 10G port. Is that still accurate?

If it is that isn't something that they mentioned to me. That seems a bit steep to me with a $500/month cost as that is 10 months worth of service.

Does anyone happen to know how much does a full cabinet with 20A of power cost at One Wilshire?

Agreed. However, you might be able to find a deal if a particular tenant has extra space they don't know what to do with. But in general, much more expensive.

    Is $1K a good deal?

  12. #12
Call their main number 866-777-2673 and ask for west coast sales or you can ping info@coresite.com and they will get you a quote. Best way to get a quote/info.

Eiv: is that 1K including the 120V circuit?

You will definitely get a better deal from a reseller than you will direct. There are a number of reputable ones on this board.

It's been a while, but I think we were quoted $900 + power for a 42U cab when buying direct.

depends, most of the time you'll benifit from a package deal including bandwidth and cross connects vs going direct with coresite which you would have to get your own then. And maybe cheaper per rack with power pricing.
