Bandwidth question
Please help me understand what "$325/MB sustained bandwidth" means. This is in addition to a flat per-month fee for rack space.
As I understand it, there's no cumulative per-month bandwidth allotment (40GB/month, for example). Rather, it's based on an average of samples taken at intervals throughout the day.
Is there a way to translate this into an estimated number of requests per day at say 15k per request? In other words, how many hits can I process before incurring a bandwidth fee?
Thanks

Is $325/MB sustained a good price?

Depends on who's providing the bandwidth and if it's MB or Mb. Big difference between the two.
I'd be wary of any company that can't distinguish between bits and bytes.

Its just another way of billing more common with the larger providers. Generally speaking 1mbps ~= 324GB.
