    what forums do you think are ok for a vps?

    just tyring to see what forums i can allow clients to use if they have any.

    I have 4 Invision Power Board forums running on my basic VPS, mostly getting about 3-4 visitors online at any given time. Never any performance hits or anything.

    few phpbb's , few invisions and few vbulleting on my vps ... most have around 4-5 members at any given time ( just like Elxx's forums ) , everthing runs ok

    I have 512 Ram and 2Gb burst.

    i have run a SMF forum on a Virtuozzo VPS..as long as it didn't have too many users it stayed afloat

    Most forums should be ok with VPS unless they hav 100 users online at once or something.

    Also, CGI/Perl forums are not recommended

    Thats a lot of load, I think I would have to get a dedicated machine depending on the content.
