Need Help: Charging Taxes
Our web hosting business is based in MA, USA. Do we have to charge our customer's taxes? If not, could someone post a link to show us where is says that we don't have to? Thanks

I believe you only have to charge taxes if they live in the same state.
Of course, I live in Delaware, which is tax-free, so someone else may know better

Isn't that something you should know before you start selling?

You should contact your State's IRS department. I spoke with my lawyer on the issue, and he said Internet tax-laws are still sketchy.
In my state, Georgia, I would only have to pay taxes on equipment I purchase for the business. I don't have to charge sales tax on any of my orders.
All it takes is a free phone call to your IRS department to see if they do taxes on an internet related business; web hosting.
