I deleted some documents accidently and then emptied the recycling bin on the desktop, i dont think my cyber scrub deleted them yet so is there any software i can use to retrieve the documents?

We have always had very good luck with File Scavenger http://www.quetek.com/prod02.htm

I would suggest you to use PcInspector as it's a good software and really does help you in recovering your deleted files and folders.

I'd used it for recovering a 40GB HDD and it worked really great.

We use filescavenger and pcinspector both at the shop....

Both work great (sometimes we can retrieve files with one that we can't with the other)

On a side note: When you delete something, you really want to install/uninstall the least amount of things possible to prevent them from being overwritten. You want to DL the copy of the scavenger on another computer, put it on a disk and bring it to the computer and load it up.

this will minimize the impact it'll have on your chances of recovering the lost file(s)
