Connectivity Problem, PLEASE HELP!
Hi Dear friends
I'm having a severe connectivity problem.. There is internet in my system (Win 7) as Skype works but nothing else works.
Believe me I have tried many fixes found in many forums like
LAN settings (unchecking proxy), Re-installing the Network driver, forgetting the network and reconnecting
Firewall - off, ipconfig /release /all /flushdns /renew etc..
Most of them says its DNS issue as i was able to ping to certain IPs but not able to ping to any domain names. But does any of the friends here can help me with this..
I will really appreciate if someone can help me with this.
Thanks,
Joe.

Re : Disc Hosting
I dont think there is any problem from the ISP side as I can use them in my other devices.. and i forgot to add, I tried with 3 different networks at 3 different places. Thanks for your reply
Do you see any other chances for the fix?

From an Administrator command prompt, you can try to run:
netsh interface tcp set global autotuning=disabled
If that doesn't make a difference, reverse the change with this command:
netsh interface tcp set global autotuning=normal.
Reboot after typing each command, as it won't take effect until then.If you have to operate your company behind the scenes or under a fake name, maybe it's time to leave the industry and start something fresh.

Fixed! :)
Firstly even in safe mode i was not able to restore my system.
But when i tried pressing f8 while booting, we get a screen with options like Auto Repair, System restore etc.. when i gave it from here I successfully restored the system to a previous date settings even though it took 3 hours it was worth. Now All is Well!
