SpeedySparrow, getting a 403
Hi there,
I wanted to take a look at the SpeedySparrow website because they were recommended to me for shared hosting. I tried first yesterday, but their site just returns a 403 to me... Today still the same.
http://speedysparrow.com/
Anyone knows what's up there?
Any other suggestions for real quality shared hosting (budget is stretchable) preferrably with additional services in Europe?
Thanks & regards

It works for me, 403 is forbidden, perhaps they blocked you for whatever reason.
Have you tried to contact them before posting here?

Our website is working perfectly fine.
If you can PM me or Sean on your IP address we will be able to check if your IP is being blocked by our firewall and the reason for the block.[ James Lee - Cloud & Web Hosting Specialist • 10+ Years WHT Veteran]

I am deeply sorry, I am on a dynamic IP and did not expect it to be blocked. I will reset my router to get a new IP and see whether it works then. If not, then I will contact you via PM.

It seems that it is an isolated problem on my IP range... :-(
Could someone post some screenshots until I gain access myself? ;-) Just kidding!
However, it would be nice if I could see the website too...

I just thought I'd chime in with everyone else and say it's working here too!
P.S: Sean, don't forget to remove the RatePoint logo/link from your website footer.

Just to also clarify that this is NOT related to our hosting services or network as our website is hosted off-site and off-network.

Please excuse my late reply. I am from Germany. And still today, with another ISP and (of course) another IP, your website (which is not hosted on your network, as I understood) is throwing 403s..
However, I could visit it through my VPNs in Switzerland and the USA. So I can confirm that it works from other locations.

It's not a CloudFlare issue, to myself I'd say it is one of our blocking mechanisms we put in place to block attacks from certain IP addresses and we have done a few on GE IP's in the past, I have done some tweaking so if Amitz can do some testing on his/her end now I can validate if my changes worked or not
Hopefully a good result.██ l Dedigeeks • Shared • Wordpress • Dedicated • Established 2006
