    Local mail server need advice!

    Hello, I am new to linux. I need to know how to set up local mail server on centos. Please guide me the summary.

    It depends on which control panel to use.You can install cpanel,directadmin or free Kloxo ,all of them have a email system and web control panel that is very intuitive and easy to control.

    By default sendmail should be there, if not, install sendmail using yum

    yum install sendmail*
    If you opt for a control panel like cPanel, Plesk etc, they install different mail servers like exim, qmail, postfix etc.
