I can't seem to find any reviews, do you have any testimonials?

Does your cPanel option include WHM?

Yes, cPanel does include WHM. It is the exact same cPanel you buy from a distributor.

Team VPS is a new company. The founders have been in the hosting business since 1997 (really 1996 but hosting web sites on free AOL accounts with 5 MB of space really don't count).

Are the VOIP templates freely selectable from HyperVM? Kernel mods in place to support all asterisk features? Asterisk version(s) supported.

    Any additional charge for those?

Do you support tun device for VPN?

    Do you setup RDNS?

    IP to ping?

Is the price fixed for the life of the order?

This is a service who's time has come. Wishing you well. If you are free to do so please pm me with a reference(s) to some of your team member activity in the VOIP forums.

We don't have a template available yet for this. We will look into this though. We develop all our own templates so this should not be that hard. The problem is that there is a bug that can cause a remote desktop VPS to become unresponsive so we will need to look into that more.

Yes, they are all in HyperVM for you to install instantly. The kernel modules are also in place. We just need to manually setup a few permissions the first time if you use a VOIP template and need zaptel.

The asterisk version depends on what distro you choose (i.e. Trixbox, Elastix, PBX in a Flash).

    Any additional charge for those?
No, all templates are available on all our plans for the same price. We do not charge our customers extra just for VOIP templates.

Do you support tun device for VPN?
Yes, as long as it is supported in OpenVZ we support it.

    Do you setup RDNS?
Yes, we set that up for you also.

    IP to ping?
You can use our main site to test pings and traceroute: teamvps.com

Is the price fixed for the life of the order?
Yes, the price is fixed. We don't play games with our prices.

We agree. We have been using Asterisk for years now (since the Astersk @ Home days) and have always seen a need for more reasonable prices on VOIP VPS's.

Judging by the whois information and their address, yes, it looks to be the same people...

However, I will say that I just signed up for an account tonight, just to test them out, and it was up and running in less than an hour. So far, everything seems great.

    I purchased VPS Level 2 – 14.99 / Month 2 hours ago.

I hope you will activate it soon

  17. #17
Could I ask you how much VPS will be in one node?

Thanks for activate my VPS, great service

Got service set up from them yesterday. Seems quick, I am just wondering how many VPS's per server they are going to run. Since its a Intel i7 920 - 2.66 GHz CPU server I am assuming running costs would be up there so they would need x amount of vps's per box to at least make profit (and only $7.99 per vps).

You can check a live site on their server: invisionresources.com . Runs pretty smooth.

I talked to them about it and from what I was told they don't have plans to oversell the nodes at all. And they own the equipment and colo at wholesaleinternet, so it's not like they have a huge bill every month.

I know it's way too soon to judge these guys, which is why I'm just testing them for a few months, but if they keep it up they'll definitely have a winner. Of course, from what I can tell, they are the same people behind jumpdomain.com, which doesn't exactly have glowing reviews... but... every ticket I have sent in to them so far has been answered promptly and professionally. So as far as I am concerned, TeamVPS gets an A+ rating so far... let's just see if they can maintain it.

Can someone explain to me the advantages of VOIP hosting? Since the call has to go an extra hop (from my home/office to the VOIP VPS) before going out, won't this diminish call quality, add latency, etc?

It doesn't save bandwidth since the call still uses the bandwidth from the originators place/home/office. I am intrigued by the idea but don't get why it makes sense.
