2.0 Ghz and 2.6 Ghz processor vps
Hi,
I found 2 good vps companies.
But one is a bit cheaper with a 2.0 Ghz processor and another is a bit expensiver but has a 2.6 ghz.
So my question is: is the 2.6Ghz much faster than the 2.0 or there isn't much difference. They are both xen)
I hope you understand me, my english is not the best.

The provider with the 2.6Ghz processor could be slower, it depends on how many VPS they are hosting per server, and how active they are among other factors.
Xen has very good CPU scheduling, so you probably wouldnt notice too much difference either way, choose with the provider that suits you best.

It not only depends on clock speed, think about the processor "series" or model. An old pentium of 2.6 won't be better than a core i7 extreme of 2.0
I'm saying, ask the providers the processor "type" and then come here again to post it█ Diego Rodríguez B. - https://diegorbaquero.com

Try asking for a trial. This will give you a better idea of the kind of performance you expect to get.

Hi,
What are your requirements? Means what kind of websites are you planning to host, number of connections expected, resource usage etc.
The choice of processor will depend on all these factors and not just clock speed.

I thought games used more RAM than they did CPU?
Anyway, Depends on how many other services they are hosting on that node. But if there is a even shared node your best chance could be either of them. Go for what fits in your budget and how ever much you may need in the resources department.
Im sure those hosts will allow you to upgrade your package if you become stuck anyway.

CPU/RAM and Server Port Speed are the most important facts in Game Servers.
Did you get the CPU models?█ Diego Rodríguez B. - https://diegorbaquero.com

Don't worry to much about clock speed. 1.5Ghz in a i7 can do many things. Because of the quad core, and the technologies it has.
