Why does everybody copy JumpLine.com's design? I know of 2 sites that look just like it.

It is much easier to copy than to come up with a design yourself.

    That's true.

It takes less time to think of something yourself, than waist time trying to make a clone of some site.

Yes, if they wanted to they can. But it is very expensive if you wanted to pursue it.

The first thing that should be done is an email needs to be sent telling the offending party to cease all operations and have your attorney do it, or at least have them follow up on it. That's enough to get them scared, at least.

It's not too hard to think up a design

That gives you no excuse to take somebody else's. Would you like it if Jumpline took yours?

I dont know what to think... I once had someone reproduced everything off my site and claimed the work as his. I felt very angered but @ the same time, honoured (hey that means somebody thinks highly of your site Perhaps seeing a duplicate website of yours is the greatest compliment a web designer can ever get?
