    Improve search engine ranking.

    Hi All,

How can I continue to improve our search engine ranking?

On google.co.uk for profile site uk we are second:

    http://www.google.co.uk/search?hl=en...UK%7CcountryGB

on .com one of my aliased domains is on page 2:

    http://www.google.co.uk/search?q=pro...&start=10&sa=N

For a simple search of profile site i'm on page 4:

    http://www.google.co.uk/search?q=pro...&start=30&sa=N

On google.co.uk i'm on page 6 for one of my aliased domains:

    http://www.google.co.uk/search?q=pro...&start=50&sa=N

I'm really wanting to focus on getting us as near to the top as possible for the words "profile site" and "profile site uk". I've followed some tips from another forum, Has anyone got any further advice I can follow? I've started submitting to link directories.

I'm going to continue what i'm doing now, I realise the process is long but i'm looking for other techniques for when I try and push up the rankings for other keywords.

As I'm not an SEO expert i'm learning by focusing on a few search terms and once I feel i'm doing all I can to keep up and improve the terms i've started with i'll apply these techniques to other keywords.

Write a few articles and post them to just a one or two article
directories.(goarticles, ezarticle)Everyone thinks more is better on submitting to directories but its not.Write your article for a specific pages content ,dont copy whats already there on your site..

Add a post or two to a social site (digg, stumble, ect)
but again do not over do it.

Then wait and look for the results.
    then repeat.

    Forum sigs help .
Try to get at least 1 backlink per day, this can even be a blog post if it has to,but a website is better.NO bad neighorhoods
Keep adding more good content, avoid keyword stuffing

Do this and you will keep coming up in the ranks.

    1. Create as many back link as you can to your website.
    2. Create unique contents in your site that contain your keyword "profile site uk".
    3. Submit as many unique articles as you can to article directories or forums which talk about "profile site uk" as the topic.

Submitting to link directories could be a nice start. Forum and blog participation, social bookmarking, etc. would also help in boosting for SERP ranking.

Vary on your anchor texts (while still having your keywords within it) as this will make your backlinks look more natural in the eyes of the bots.

continue post forum on major site, submit article and make inbound link there.coz this is the right way where we can make our site's back link.

  10. I'd recommend to choose more keywords and to have separate keywords for every page. We should remember that the keyword should have low competition and lots of searches. Play with your title tags, your texts, titles on the pages etc.
Nowadays the web2 optimization is getting more and more popular, that is getting your traffic from the the social networks rather than optimizing your web pages for the search engines, so try social marketing.
