I use.. FTP Commander Deluxe,
Very good FTP client...very good for large uploads..
FTP Commander Deluxe ftp client possesses built-in fully functional support for Shell Access, FTPS (File Transfer Protocol using SSL), SFTP (Secure File Transfer Protocol) and other protocols, without requiring additional installation or a connection to additional external libraries. Thus, all data traffic is encrypted and no one can intercept your login ID and password.

FTP Commander is good. It resembles WSFTP, but does it stay connected untill you disconect it, or does it drop the line after it goes idle for a while?
Also, can you install it on multiple machines, or is there that annoying key limitation that is the main reason why I want to get away from WSFTP?
AceFTP isn't bad, but it's not as nice as the above..Check out Twelveoclock.net. And please check out our forums for fun Animation/Technology talk

I have tried WS_FTP, coffee cup, filezilla, and several others but I just like CuteFTP the best.

I have used WS_FTP and Smart FTP. Both are fairly easy to use, but Smart FTP is nicer. Who uses the the paid version and who uses the free version of Smart FTP? Is there any difference?

I personally use Filezilla. It's nice and simple plus it has good SFTP support.

I still use ws_ftp95 - its simple and does the job without hassle.
Simple I know, but I have been using it since about 1999 and have never had a reason to use anything else.

For windows, hands down, ftp voyger is what I use. It's one of the few pieces of software I actually keep the license up to date (yearly) on.
for linux, I got hooked early on with ncftp, and just haven't been able to shake the addictionTom Whiting, WHMCS Guru extraordinaire

Hello,
You can get the free version of CuteFTP from the following site.
It is free and only becomes AdWare after 30 days.
Also I recommend FileZilla portable version which does not need installation and can be used from any USB Pen Drive.
Another good one is CoreFTP, which is very stable but requires installation on PC like Cute.
All these FTP are available on the following website from India:
www(.)trustmeher(.)net/freeware/cute.htm
Wish you Best !! Please remove () from above URL.
