We are still moving accounts from our burst server. Do all of you have root access or you just resellers.

I have personal servers in the datacenter as well, it is definitely frustrating, but I understand that it is just something that happens sometimes and I personally know that we do all we can to get it back up.

I certianly can not tell people how to run a web hosting business (I really do not know), but network downtime does happen. I believe it is a great balance of managed services for the price, at least relative everything else that is out there.
Lanie, is this current? What did you find it?

Same here - looks like Travis Johnson must have taken over as CEO of BurstNET. I am, AGAIN, moving all of my sites (20 of them). Are there ANY legit and competent companies in this business?

Wow, I can beleive BurstChris's response from BurstNet about how all of this downtime is 'the nature of the business' and that that is just the way it is.

How's that for ducking accountability? I have had servers at GNAX (formerly DV2) for years, Rackshack for years, and have never seen any problem produce anywhere near the amount of downtime I have seen from Burst these past five days. The only "nature of business" that is is the "nature of going out of business" in my opinion.

Yes, it's CPanel's fault, and there is currently no ETA.

I just gotta say i love this post off Burst.net forums

Burst is setting all types of records this last few weeks...

    1. One of the fastest grown DC
    2. Most ever post in the WHT forum
    3. Most users on there own forum
    4. Quickest Bankrupt company...

    I don't believe it.

I don't think it's a coincidence that Cpanel just happens to mess up all license files for Burst.net on the day Burst.net screws up.

Early last week, Cpanel did mess up the licenses and had it fixed in like 15 minutes with an apology. It is uncharacteristic for Cpanel to screw up licenses and then say, "No ETA."

Burst.net... do you have business ethics?

For BURST, it's typical. Do a search for 'em, or even better check out this thread to see the exact ducking of accountability by BurstNet in matters. It's always the same thing. Deny, deny, deny.

I agree, since I left burst, I've never seen even more than an hour downtime, and I've seen some pretty serious problems and hardware issues. Thankfully, there are techs out there that know what they're doing.

Sadly, this isn't the case here. Burst will just lower prices, draw some attractive sales in, and individuals will buy these services, without verifying that these services and issues are fixed. Sadly, the circle will continue again in a few months. I'd lay good $$$ on it.
