    Thumbs up How to install OpenVPN on Ubuntu VPS

    Came across this tutorial on installing OpenVPN on Ubuntu VPS. The tutorial is graphical and every step is explained with actual images. Hope it will benefit the community.

    I tried before to install OpenVz with ubuntu but it's not success

    I will try again with this method

    I want also the way to install OpenVZ on Fedora 16
    is this posible !!

    Hi,

    This is the hardest way of installing the OpenVPN.

    Well you download the .RPM Package from OpenVPN (http://openvpn.net/index.php/access-...vpn-as-sw.html) into your VPS or Dedicated

    Then you run this commands

    http://openvpn.net/index.php/access-...-software.html

    And the software will be installed it self.

    Also you need to do this

    http://openvpn.net/index.php/access-...container.html

    Tweaks so the VPN can work.

    And you will have a Admin and User Interface for your VPN.

    You will go like yourip:933 and you will just need to configure it and you are done ...

    This appears to be an easier method. I will try this method as well . Thanks for letting me know this. It appears that this is a paid implementation of OpenVPN whereas the method in the tutorial link i posted is free i guess.

    Well you will have 2 Users Access at the same time for Free if you want more users then you need to pay but this method is more easy.

    What is the default password for the Admin login with openVPN-as? I tried user name as root. And openvas as password.
