The sharp high pitch of my pager nearly knocked me off my chair!
I called NOC and asked if there was an issue. They said Yep. So I told them I would leave them alone to work on it and watch for the forums.
Weird that I cant even get out there from here in Michigan. PingPlotter just stops dead in Chicago. I am using Comcast.

Why is this becoming a monthly thing? They used to NEVER have any downtime and all the sudden the past two months they've had several problems.

ServInt's Engineers are looking into the problem. We'll get back to everybody with an update as soon as we have the details of our findings.

I can understand a server or two down, but what would cause their ENTIRE network to be down?

For us the ETA is always the key info. All we can ever do to help our own plight is take the correct decisions (eg: regarding nameserver pointing). This depends entirely on the accuracy of incoming info.
Any ETA Christian?

would appear to me the core router(s) are down... you won't be getting to any servint IPs until a connection comes up.

My web site/forum is also offline, why can't these outages occur at a more convenient time like 3AM?

Is it just my failing memory, or is this the third core router failure in as many weeks?
