I think all of them are great, but if you really want the best, may be you can choose the most expensive one

As a current McHostee, I'd say: don't go with them in the current state of business. If their communication improved, they might once again become a good contender, but you might find this another struggle.
I know I will be moving soon to voxtreme but that was only a personal decision because of a new staff member they hired that I think is one of the best.
I have not had experience with httpme or kualo though I've had a fefw people tell me both were nice.
Best of luck in your search.Jacynthe Durocher

I would say go with HTTPme. Their business model (the community) is really a great view to the reseller business! And their speeds are good, and response times are very low, within half an hour for presales questions.
Or else you might consider http://www.freestylehosting.com , I host there myself and their response times are even faster, within minutes! You can't go wrong with both, they are both different in their approach to the market, so you can choose
Good luck!

would say thumbs down to mchost (Was a client of theirs for 7 months)
httpme is good AussieBob is a nice chap
don't know much about kualo
I am currently with voxtreme and they have done well as far as I can tell. Perhaps I am just so accustomed to the blundering of mchost that I don't see the problems at voxtreme. They have surprised me at every turn how much better than mchost they are.Mindshift

I would say both httpme.com and voxtreme.com are great choices, as I have heard nothing but the best about these companies and the support/service they provide.

each host has there ups and downs.
If no one else is complaining, maybe you need to find a host better able to provide for your needs.Marcus Brown

I have been through a few before also. I don't know about the ones you are asking about, but I do know I can vouch for SplashHost.com....yes the same poster in one of the replies above (2 above). I have needed much hand-holding and must say they have been very helpful when needed. I have had no problems. Good support, good prices and features. They have my vote anyway.

Its way past your bedtime Alan - maybe you're getting tired, hence your snide remark.

Sarah.
It's very hypocritical to call Alan's post snide then make a comment about his bedtime. I have actually seen Alan on until many early hours in the morning - and I know he works a very long shift.
Lets just get on in a friendly manner...

I was not trying to put down httpme, i think he has a very good thing going there. I had only seen httpme mentioned around here for the last few months, i thought bob had only been reselling accounts for a few months. It turns out that i was wrong, am I not allowed to make mistakes?
Sarah that was not a "snide remark", it was a question. I just asked how long he had been doing that model for. I dont see anything wrong with that.

And what if you WERE correct? As a direct competitor (someone selling reseller plans) it is VERY bad form to publicly point out that 'they haven't stood the test of time'. It makes it appear as though you are attempting to puff yourself up by putting others down.
That said, this isn't exactly the end of the world and isn't worth having a huge arguement over. IMHO what your mistake really was wasn't that you were wrong about how long httpme has been offering reseller plans, but the fact that you even said what you said in the first place.
Anyway...back to your regularly scheduled programming....

The PM feature is something i very rarely use.
You presumed that i was trying to put a competitor down, that was not what i was trying to do.

I communicate alot with both Bob and Alan (httpme.com & splashost.com) and they both run very sound & stong businesses
you would not be dissapointed with either of them
I know Alan would not deliberately put down one of his competitiors, and I am sure that his post was misunderstood.

Tony: Have to cancel the trip out on the boat this weekend. Pass it onto Matt too. Break it to him gently. He was so looking forward to sitting in the Captain's chair with the Captain's hat on.
