Service status cpdavd failed in WHM
service status in whm shows the cpdavd as failed, I have tried in all sorts after googling for this but still it shows failed.
this happened all of a sudden
restarting the server both gracefully and forcefully did nothing to resolve.
Please help.

Is your automatic update set to stable tree?
1) Login to SSH as ROOT
2) Run the command: /scripts/upcp -force
3) After running the command, run: service cpanel restart to confirm that all services have been restarted after being updated.Respectfully,
Mr. Terrence

Do you have lfd installed? Or any other software to monitor/limit the cpu/memory usage by all processes and kill that process.
