    WHMsonic ports

    Hi all

    I'm after some info if you could point me in the right direction

    Howto reset ports previously used by shoutcast accounts but now
    not available

    i would like to keep ports between 8000 - 8020

    You want to open them or close them? It depends on which firewall you're using.

    csf v5.09

    i did have a quick look in there butdidnt
    see any reference to port that was used

    i'm after reusing them as once used not available
    says port not available yet account has been deleted
    it used port 8001 but im unable to reuse it now

    Not really... I'd check netstat to see what is using the port (if anything) or just remove the ports from csf.conf tcp_in and tcp_out and then issue a restart (/etc/csf/csf.pl -r) as well as a network restart (/sbin/service network restart).

    Unless you're wanting to open the ports, in which case do the netstat as well and then add the ports to tcp_in and _out and the rest of the directions are the same.
